Welcome to Apostolic Life Center
Apostolic Life Center has been a part of the community of Albany for over fifty years. Our primary mission is to increase the number of Apostolic believers worldwide. We trace our roots to the 20th century outpouring of the Holy Ghost that was prophesied to take place in the last days. Beyond that, we identify our doctrine with the Apostolic message defined in the book of Acts and carried by the Apostles to the known world of the first century. We are affiliated with the United Pentecostal Church International.
As part of our mission to share the Apostolic message and lifestyle, we
invest a great deal of our resources into helping build strong families. ALC
provides to church members and to the community a number of classes on
parenting, marriage enrichment, and family. Children and youth associated
with ALC are active in youth ministries, student conventions, vacation Bible
schools, summer youth camps, and church/school campouts. In addition we
offer addiction recovery classes that aid those who are seeking to
overcome substance abuse and address other current social issues such as
anger management, self esteem, job skills, and welfare/victim mentality.
ALC also offers traditional church ministries such as Sunday worship,
mid-week Bible study, children and youth classes, K-12 Christian school, and
new life classes for beginning Christians. Many ALC staff members and church
members volunteer their time to teach one-on-one Bible studies to anyone
seeking to increase their knowledge of God and the Bible.
In addition to the above mentioned church ministries, ALC participates
in volunteer-based re-entry and recovery programs made available to those
incarcerated or being released from jail or prison. Many ALC church members
serve as foster parents.
